“ We visited Skippers for Friday night fish fry. The restaurant was packed! We don’t know why, maybe due to COVID, but they were extremely short staffed. We waited 1 1/2 hour for our food. But we went back to eat there again the next night. The food was worth the wait. The beer is from a local brewery which we LOVED. The bartender Silvia is the nicest, happy-go-lucky Wonder Woman I’ve ever met. She greeted everyone with a great smile, was attentive, kind, and kept everyone informed. She was honest and even gave us a shot due to the wait. She is the reason we came back. As a customer you know when you are truly appreciated and we felt very welcomed . ”

“ I recently visited Skippers Bar &Grill at 9 Front St, in L'Anse, MI. It's a beautiful restaurant that sits just across the street from Lake Superior. A great view. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss hamburger and fries meal. The meal was very good and I tried to make it back there for another meal while I traveled in the area. The place was very clean and just waiting for more guests to serve. Thanks. ”
“ We were recommended Skippers by the host of our Airbnb and I’m glad we took their recommendation! The loaded buffalo tots were sooo good! I got the jalapeno burger and my boyfriend got the mushroom burger. We were both very happy with the food, and you can’t go wrong with that beautiful view of the bay. The beer flights were awesome and they also had mimosa flights and espresso martini flights. Cute beach and park right across the street with tables. If it were warmer I’d get my food to go and sit at the park! Definitely recommend stopping here for some good food and views. I believe they only serve pizza after 7:30 so if you want a full menu go before then. ”
